Where are you from?

I’m originally from Clearwater, Florida but my family and I move to Germany when I was 3 years old.  I’m definitely an Army brat!

What does Chatara like to do for fun?

Let’s see, for fun I love to read, crochet, and watch old love movies (including my favorite t.v. show, the Golden Girls), workout, sleep, spend time with family and friends, shop, oh and did I mention sleep?  Lol.

How long have you been modeling?

I’ve been modeling for 5 years, but I didn’t really pursue it until I moved to Orlando in 2006.  Every since then it’s been runway galore and I love it!

What got you into modeling?

I’m not really sure what got me into modeling, I just remember saying that I always wanted to do it.  I guess watching tons of runway shows on the fashion channel really made me fall in love with it.

Which do you enjoy more print or runway? 

I enjoy runway more because I definitely express myself.  Plus, I love the attention I get from people when they see how excellent my walk is and how short I am.  I am 5’3 but when I step on to the runway, you would think I was 6 feet tall.  It’s such an amazing feeling!

Who do you look up to in the modeling world?

I really love Naomi Campbell.  Her walk is absolutely fierce!  I also love Kim Kardashian, she is absolutely beautiful and her style is amazing.  I know many people don’t consider her a model but she definitely works it in her pictures and on the runway.

Do you have any advice for the up and coming models?

I would definitely say to give it all you got if it is what you really want.  There are going to be sooo many people that tell you no, but just remember no does not mean the end of the road.  It just means that the person who told you no isn’t paying attention to true talent!  Explore all possibilities when it comes to modeling.  If you do that, you will definitely reach a door that says YES!

Who would you like to work with in the future?

I would love to work with anyone who believes in my talent.  More specifically, those who aren’t blinded by the typical stereotype of what a model should look like.  I’ve worked with some amazing people so far and I hope the future holds many more.

I’m single but I am definitely ready to mingle lol.

I definitely want to tell my family that I love them and I am so thankful for everything that they have done for me.
