Top 10 Things to Know Before Going to Mexico

1. If you rent a vehicle make sure you record it before you take it off the lot. You don’t want to come back and a small piece is missing or broken and they try to take hundreds of dollars from you.
   
   
2. Always remember, everything is at least half its asking price!
   
   
3. Never ever drink the water or have ice in you drink!
   
   
4. Do not go into a dark alley for any reason and not even for a $5 Coach pursue. Trust me!
   
   
5. Watch out for Mexican Drug Cartel gun fights
   
   
6. Don’t drink too much Tequila! It might be the most exciting night of your life or the worst.
   
   
7. Bring your own snorkeling equipment.
   
   
8. Do not stop for every person that calls out to you. You will never make it out of Mexico.
   
   
9. Make sure you have some pesos. It avoids people saying they don’t have change for American dollars.
